Genesis Painting Limited owner and operator, Ivan, has a lifetime of experience in home improvement and business. Graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 1991, Ivan purchasing a painting company, Paper Moon, and began his career in home improvement. Ivan transformed Paper Moon into a successful painting company known for its superior quality and reliability. As a result, he was able to build and sustain the business solely on recommendations and referrals.

After 14 hard-working years with Paper Moon, Ivan ventured into the booming real estate market with his wife, Jodi, in 2007. As an agent, Ivan used his painting expertise to turn slow to sell homes into sold signs. During this time, he invested in a 'flip property' with friends and transformed an outdated house into a renovated, lovely home for the next family.

As the real estate market fluctuated, Ivan took on small painting jobs for friends and family. This renewed his love for painting and reminded him of how much he missed it. New techniques, higher quality paints and the high demand for superior and reliable painters enticed him to start a new painting company, Genesis Painting Limited.

Genesis Painting Limited started in April 2014. In the first year of business, the company was able to run solely on referrals and recommendations of Ivan's quality craftsmanship. He takes pride in every project he takes on. Ivan works hard until you are 100% satisfied with the result.
